Combined Dance and Weight
Loss program.
As a dance instructor and certified
personal life coach, I have combined dance/exercise and coaching into a fun
and supportive hour and a half class.
The curriculum is 50 minutes of
stretching, line dancing, salsa dancing, and cool down. As the cool
down starts, we go into another 30 minute group discussion and
support session regarding our progress, concerns, insights and
observations about our individual goals. The class does not
promote any particular weight loss program or diet. The class is for
both men and women.
Everyone is different, and as such we
each will connect to different things. This class supports and
assists with your individual meal plan and healthy lifestyle. I, myself,
lost 100 pounds within 9 months, through dancing, walking, and using a
healthy meal plan. In the group discussion workshop, I share my
up and down experiences and I will have guest speakers (people like us)
that will share their strategies. From the various successes, you and
your friends will connect with one or a combination. You'll find your
own successful path.
At this time, the class is scheduled as a
designer group class. If you have a group of friends that are
interested in this, I can travel to your location or your group can come to
the Triangle Dance Studio. If you have a group of 4 or more
that are interested in this please let me know. I would love to
support you and your friends on your healthy path.
